Laptop Recommendations?
Ian is convinced that I need a new laptop. That mine is too slow because it takes 10 minutes to shut it down. And because MS Word crashes at least 5 times a day. And because I've had it for almost three years. It is a bit heavy and for that reason it's hard to use it as a laptop. So I'm finally giving in and looking into a new laptop to purchase.
I have a Sony Vaio (Model: PCG-GRX520P). I use it for work, mostly MS Office applications. Although since we own a design studio I do need to view design files (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) quite often. I'm on it about 10 hours a day. And I want something light I can take back and forth to work easily. I would love to have a Mac, but most of our clients are on a PC so I need to have a PC. Plus we need to test things on a PC and none of the designers will work on one so that leaves me.
Any recommendations? Suggestions? Opinions? Thank you!

Thanks Julia! I completely agree. Macs rule. I used to work for a company called Mactivity. ;) But we need a PC machine in the office for testing. Although maybe I can convince myself to get two new computers...
